Production
There is relatively little research on the formulation, process and equipment of special rigid PVC foam boards. As the process changes with the material, extruder and die, the material is different, the extruder specification and screw structure are different, the extruded profile specification and shape are different, the process adjustment methods taken are very different.
The complexity of the extrusion process of rigid PVC foamed sheets determines the difficulty of achieving crust foam molding. The quality of PVC crust foam sheets is directly related to various factors such as screw speed, extrusion temperature, extrusion pressure and structure of the head, mouth die and cooling die. Therefore, in order to obtain high quality rigid PVC foamed sheets, advanced sheet production line equipment and suitable crust foam processing technology are necessary.
